I started iDry Columbus because I was tired of watching national franchises treat Columbus properties like every other city. I grew up here. Raised my family here. I've worked on properties in every neighborhood from German Village to Westerville, from the LeVeque Tower to Children's Hospital to thousands of homes in between.
Over thirty years, you learn things no franchise manual teaches. You learn that pre-1960s masonry in Victorian Village holds moisture differently than a 2020 new-build in New Albany. You learn that Columbus's clay soil and freeze-thaw cycles create failure patterns you won't find in a textbook. That knowledge is what separates a real fix from a temporary patch.
It's been quite the ride. Everything from water damage to mold issues, from hoarding cleanups to fire restoration. I've installed my kids' car seats in my work van and brought my dog along on weekend emergency calls. Helping people through the worst day they've had with their property — that's personal to me.
This isn't a franchise. When you call iDry Columbus, you get my team and my direct accountability. No call center. No regional franchise manager making decisions from another state. No "preferred relationships" with insurance carriers dictating what gets done. Every decision is for the property and the person standing in front of us.
Thanks for giving us the opportunity.
